Projects
The School of Life (The School of Life) is an international social project implemented in London , Paris , Amsterdam and Melbourne . The goal of the School of Life is to open up opportunities for people to improve themselves and show them how their life can become more interesting and rich.
In his interview, de Botton says:
The school’s idea is to challenge traditional universities and rethink knowledge, bringing it closer to real life, moving away from “knowledge for the sake of knowledge.” Simply put, it is an organization that is trying to give people what universities, in my opinion, should give them: a sense of direction and worldly wisdom through culture.
