Na krzywy ryj (“On a Crooked Snout”) is the fourth studio album of the Polish rock band Elektryczne Gitary , released on February 10, 1997 by the recording company PolyGram Polska [2] [3] [4] . By June 10, 1997 the disc became gold in Poland - more than 15,000 copies of the album were sold [5] , by August 7, 1997 the disc became platinum - more than 30,000 copies of the album were sold [6] .

About the album
Album Na krzywy ryj was recorded from December 1996 to February 1997 in the studio Izabelin [4] .
Most of the compositions were written by the vocalist and guitarist of the group Yakub Senkevich , the saxophonist Alexander Koretsky and keyboard player Pyotr Loek also became authors of some of the material on this album. In addition, an instrumental cover version of the song “Ms.” was included in the album Na krzywy ryj Pinky ”from Frank Zappa ’s 1976 Zoot Allures album , cover for the song“ I'm Waiting for the Man ”from The Velvet Underground and Nico 1967 album The Velvet Underground - Nie wiem co to sen with Polish text written by Peter Loek, and a cover version of the song “Waterloo Sunset” from The Kinks' 1967 album Something Else by The Kinks by the song “Stacja Wilanowska” with Polish text written by Yakub Senkevich [~ 1] [ 7] .
The compositions Jak zwierzęta, Stacja Wilanowska and W porównaniu contain flute parts performed by Alexander Koretsky. In the songs “Zdemolowane sklepy” and “Ona jest pedałem” instead of Yakub Senkevich, Peter Loek played guitar parts, in addition, Loek played in the song “Nie wiem co to sen” of the rhythm guitar and solo guitar , and in the song “W pewnym mieście ”played the classic guitar . For performing backing vocals, vocalists Agnieszka Batlei (Na krzywy ryj, Ona jest pedałem) and Eva Mahler (Co ty tutaj robisz) were invited. In a number of songs, instead of Yaroslav Kopets, drums were played by Tomas Grohovsky [7] .
The title song from the album " Na krzywy ryj " was released as a single , a video clip was also shot for this song, however, it did not become such a hit as the song "Co ty tutaj robisz" and partly the songs "Goń swego pawia" and "Ona jest pedałem ”from the same album [8] . The compositions “Co ty tutaj robisz”, “Jak zwierzęta”, “Piosenka dla działacza”, “Jesteś słodka”, “Złodziej samochodowy”, “Ona jest pedałem” and “W porównaniu” from the album Na krzywy ryj entered the track Juliusz Makhulsky Kiler , released in the same way as the album, in 1997 [9] [10] .
