From 1840 to 1845 he was co-publisher of “Revue de bibliographie analytique” (I-VI volumes), in 1867 he founded the Association pour l'encouragement des études grecques . In 1848, published an index of the Greek manuscripts of Eskurial ; his small articles were included in the collection Mélanges de philologie et d'épigraphique (1876).
Of the other works, his most important are:
- Recueil d'itinéraires anciens (in collaboration with Hase and Gerard, P., 1844),
- "Manuelis Philis carmina" (V., 1855-57),
- "Recueil des historiens grecs des croisades" (V., 1875-81)
- "La chronique de Chypre de Léon Machéras" (in collaboration with Safa, P., 1882).
Corresponding Member of St. Petersburg. AN c 07.12.1885 in the historical and philological department (category of classical philology and archeology). In 1855, he acquired the Portuguese Atlas of 1519 for the Paris National Library , which in 1897 was named the Miller 's Atlas in his honor.
