Boris Borisovich Koval ( rum. Boris Covali ; August 8, 1982 , Suvorovo , Moldavian SSR ) is a Moldavian singer, currently the lead singer of the Single Point group [1] , a former member of the Cotton group. Participant in the Eurovision Song Contest - 2014 from Moldova .

Biography
Born on August 8, 1982 in the village of Suvorovo [2] , in the family of Boris Koval and Galina Zhukan. He grew up in a musical environment: his grandfather was a musician, his father and now plays many musical instruments. Since 1987, he began to engage in Greco-Roman wrestling and for a long time was focused on a sports career.
Since 1994, he began his career as a singer and performed in one of the restaurants of Stefan Voda, and since 1999 he moved to Chisinau, where he was engaged in entrepreneurial activities and performed in metropolitan restaurants. Boris - owns a violin, but preferred the path of a singer and artist.
He studied for 8 years in the violin class at the Maria Biesu School of Music in Stefan Voda , and in 2006 he graduated from the Chisinau Conservatory (Academy of Music, Theater and Fine Arts, the faculty of "Theatrical Art").
In 2007, he received the Grand Prix at the Elat competition and became an artist of the Youth Theater of Pop Songs of this cultural center. After, he participated in numerous music competitions at home and abroad.
