Beketovo is a village in the urban district of Klin, Moscow Region of Russia ^[2] .

Geography

The village is located in the north-west of the Moscow region, in the central part of the Klin urban district, at the northern edge of the city of Vysokovsk , the height of the center above sea level is 194 m ^[10] . There are five streets in the village ^[11] . It is connected by bus with Klin and Vysokovsky ^[12] . The nearest settlements are Masyugino in the northeast, Gorki and Rumyanovo in the north, Shipulino in the west.

History

In the middle of the XIX century, the village of Beketovo of the 2nd camp of the Klinsky district of the Moscow province belonged to the guard captain Dmitry Fedorovich Leontyev, in the village there were 12 yards, peasants 50 male souls and 66 female souls ^[3] .

In the “List of Populated Places” of 1862 - the owner's village of the 1st camp of the Klinsky district on the right side of the Volokolamsk tract, 20 versts from the county town and 10 versts from the flat, with wells, with 15 yards and 101 residents (44 men, 57 women) ^[4] .

In 1899, it was part of the Selinsky volost of the Klinsky district, 157 people lived ^[6] .

According to the materials of the 1926 All-Union Census - the village of the Polushkinsky village council of the Vladykinskoy volost of the Klinsky district, 2.1 km from the Klinsko-Volokolamsk highway and 1.6 km from the Vysokovo Oktyabrskaya railway station; 201 people lived (92 men, 109 women), there were 47 households, of which 29 were peasant ^[7] .
