Biography

Born October 2, 1918 in Jaworani near Yard-on-Uni in a poor peasant family. Serb from Croatia. In 1937 he was enrolled in the artillery school of junior officers, served in Nis and rose to the rank of junior sergeant. For his support of the Communist Party of Yugoslavia, he was deprived of his military rank and thrown into prison, where he left only after the surrender of Yugoslavia.

Since 1941, Milosz has been part of the partisan movement, was the leader of the partisan detachment in Yard-on-Uni, with whom he attacked the Ustasha in his village. Since July 1941, a member of the Communist Party of Yugoslavia, since the end of 1941 he became commander of the 2nd battalion under the Bani partisan detachment.

January 24, 1942 , defending Shegestin from the Ustasha , Milos ошavić died. On July 5, 1951 he was posthumously awarded the title of People's Hero of Yugoslavia.
