Dziennik Poznański is a Polish-language newspaper published in Poznan in 1859-1939.

The newspaper was founded in 1859 by a group of liberal landowners, led by Ipolit Tsegelsky. The most famous chief editor was Franciszek Dobrovolsky . Under his leadership, Dziennik Poznański became the most respected Polish-language publication in Poznan. Dobrovolsky made journalism a respected profession in Poznan. He himself wrote little, but very carefully approached the selection of material. The newspaper’s growing reputation allowed the editor to bring to its pages such famous Polish writers as: Henryk Sienkiewicz , Marcelli Motti, Eliodor Sventsitsky, Maximilian Yatskovsky and Heinrich Schuman.
