Sports Biography

In competitions under the auspices of the FIS, Christina began performing in 2007. Quite often, Saalova was in the top ten in the FIS, Citizen and national championships, and several times the Slovak athlete fell into the top three in these competitions. Since 2009, Kristina began to take part in the European Cup competitions, but the athlete failed to score points. In 2013, Kristina took part in the Winter Universiade , but the Slovak athlete never managed to complete the distance. At the stages of the World Cup, Saalova performed only once. On March 11, 2011, Kristina took part in the stage, which took place in the Czech city of Spindleruv Mlyn . Saalova appeared in the supergiant, but she did not have enough to qualify for the second attempt. At the world championships, the best result in Christina's career is 36th place in the super giant at the 2011 world championship .

In 2014, Kristina Saalova made her debut at the Winter Olympics . On the downhill, the Slovak skier showed the 31st time, a little more than 4 seconds behind the winner of the Slovenian Tina Maze . In super combination , super giant and giant slalom, the Slovak athlete was unable to complete the race.
