The athlete’s career was not wondered because of his drug use. [1] . Therefore, he could not reach his potential. Twice he was arrested for possession of drugs in 1996 and 1997. In 2001, Bedford was charged with transporting 25 pounds of marijuana in Michigan. [2] After being arrested in Michigan, he was again arrested for marijuana two more times, and in 2003 received a 10-year prison term [3] [4] . Bedford was released from prison in November 2011. Since 2012, a basketball coach at the University of Memphis [5]
