Location

Novy settlement is located in the northwestern part of the urban district (the former Yegoryevsky district), about 2 km northwest of the city of Yegoryevsk. The river Guslyanka flows along the outskirts of the village. Height above sea level 136 m [2] .

History

The village arose in the 1960s as the central estate of the Yegoryevsky state farm [3]

Until 1994, the village was part of the Efremovsky Village Council of the Egorievsky District, and in 1994-2006. - Efremov rural district [4] .

During the municipal reform, the village became part of the urban settlement Egorievsk , formed in 2004.

In 2015, it became part of the Yegoryevsk urban district , formed in the same year by abolishing the Yegoryevsky municipal district and merging all its settlements into a single urban district.
