Arakanese ( Arakanese, Rakhine ) is often considered a dialect of the Burmese language. It has varieties: the Rakhine dialect ( Arakanese, Mogh, Rakhain, Rakhine, Rakkhaine ), which is spoken in the village of Paletva of Chin State and throughout Rakhine State in Myanmar, in Chittagong County in southeast Bangladesh, and Marma ( "Mogh" , Mizoram, Tripura ), which is common in Bandarban and Khagrachhari counties, as well as in the city of Rangamati, Rangamati County in Bangladesh, and in the states of Mizoram and Tripura in India.

Also, the varieties of the Arakan language have several of their dialects: Kyaukpyu, man-aung, Mrauk-u, Sittwe (akyab), Chaungtha and Yangbye (Rambi, Yanbe, Yanbye, Yanje).
