Ezhov, Vladimir Vladimirovich

Professor Ezhov Vladimir Vladimirovich was born on January 27, 1954 in the city of Simferopol, Crimean region. USSR in the family of doctors . Graduate of the Crimean Medical Institute (1977). Since 1978, after graduating from an internship at the Department of Neurology, he has been constantly working at the Department of Physiotherapy at the Faculty of Postgraduate Education of the S.I. Georgievsky Crimean State Medical University - as a senior laboratory assistant (1978-85), as an assistant (1986-95), and as an assistant professor (1995— 2001), since 2001 - professor, from 2006 to 2015 - head of the department. .September 2015 - Head of the Research Department of Physiotherapy, Medical Climatology and Resort Factors, GBUZ RK "Academic Research Institute of Physical Methods of Treatment, Medical Climatology and Rehabilitation named after IM Sechenov" (Yalta).

His teachers are prominent Russian neurological professors and physiotherapists A. G. Glaurov, I. A. Diordienko, Yu. L. Kurako, A. V. Klimenko, associate professor. B.V. Bogutsky, L.A. Kunitsyna, V.G. Yasnogorodsky, N.N. Bogdanov, N.P. Buglak, V.V. Kents, L.D. Tondiy. Professional training in medical rehabilitation, neurology, physiotherapy, psychotherapy, manual medicine, reflexology was held at the leading specialized departments of Ukraine and the CIS in Simferopol, Zaporizhia, Odessa, Moscow, St. Petersburg, Kiev. Candidate's (1985) and doctoral dissertations (1995) by V.V. Yezhov, defended at the Ukrainian Research Institute of Medical Rehabilitation and Balneology (Odessa), are devoted to the use of physiotherapy in the rehabilitation of patients with cerebrovascular diseases.

The sphere of scientific and pedagogical interests prof. V.V. Ezhova - the creation and improvement of programs for the prevention and rehabilitation of nervous and internal diseases, scientific, methodological, organizational, pedagogical and medical-historical aspects of physiotherapy, spa care and medical tourism. He is actively engaged in introducing new information technologies into practice, developing new methods of aqua-gymnastics, kinesiotherapy and fitness walking, neuromuscular electrical and vibration stimulation, the use of natural drugs of telluric and herbal origin, including enotherapeutic agents. Under the guidance of prof. VV Ezhova defended 5 candidate dissertations in the scientific specialty 01/14/33 "Medical rehabilitation, physiotherapy and balneology." Over the period of his work, he has published more than 500 scientific, educational and popular publications of various formats on the problems of physiotherapy, rehabilitation and wellness medicine, wellness and spa, including national guidelines for doctors (Ukraine, Russia). Editor of the National Information Project “Resorts and Sanatoriums of Ukraine” (2006-2009), participant in the Days of Crimea, Crimea –Health Territory programs of the Ministry of Resorts and Tourism of the AR of Crimea (2011–2013), author and producer of video projects on a healthy lifestyle , spa and wellness tourism in Crimea. An active participant and organizer of relevant international and national congresses, congresses and scientific and practical conferences. He works in the editorial boards of 5 medical journals: “Medical rehabilitation, balneology, physiotherapy” (Kiev-Odessa), “Tauride medical and biological messenger”, “Bulletin of bioethics and ecology” (Simferopol), “Bulletin of physiotherapy and balneology”, “ Asclepius ”(Evpatoria).

Prof. V.V. Yezhov - full member of the Crimean Academy of Sciences, member of the Problem Commission of the Academy of Medical Sciences and the Ministry of Health of Ukraine “Balneology and Physiotherapy”, member of the Board of the All-Ukrainian Association of Physiotherapists and Balneologists, member of the Ukrainian Association for the Study of Pain, Deputy Chairman of the Specialized Scientific Council of KRU "Research Institute of Physical Methods treatment and medical climatology named after I.M.Sechenov, expert at SWIC (Spa & Wellness International Council - International Council for the Development of the Spa and Wellness Industry, Moscow) and the EU Project “Diversification and Support rzhka development of the tourism sector of the Crimea ”, a freelance adviser to the Minister of resorts and tourism of the Crimea.
