Sports career

Cross country skiing

During her career, she participated in two world championships . In Val di Fiemme 2013 , she became 6th in the relay, 10th in the team sprint, and also 36th in the sprint and skiathlon. At the World Championships in Falun in 2015 , she became the 8th in the relay, the 6th in the team sprint, the 27th in the mass start at the 30 km classic style, the 18th in the 10 km race in free style and the 28th in the sprint.

At the 2014 Olympic Games in Sochi , she started in five disciplines: 10 km with the classic style - 27th place, skiathlon - 21st place, sprint - 40th place, team sprint - 12th place and relay race - 4th a place.

The best personal results (the only ones for the entire career of a skier in the top 10 strongest) are two 9th places shown in the 2014/2015 season in Russian Rybinsk .

The best team result was achieved at the 2014 Olympic Games in Sochi - 4th place with teammates Oror Jean , Anouk Fevr-Picon and Coraline South .

Biathlon

2015/2016 Season - World Cup Debut

In the season 2015/2016 begins his performances in biathlon. The debut was a success.

Initially, Celia began performing at the IBU Cup , where she took 3rd place in the debut race for herself, having made two mistakes at the firing lines and lost 31 seconds to the winner Magdalena Gvizdon .

She was called up to the main team for the second stage of the World Cup in Hochfilzen . In the debut sprint, she took 57th place, having made three misses at the firing lines. In the pursuit, she was able to play 6 positions, making 7 misses.

During the season, the athlete's results only improve. In Canadian Canmore, Emonier took 13th place in the sprint, making two mistakes at the firing lines, losing the podium, but managing to qualify for the first biathlon mass start in her career, where she became 15th with five misses. In the American Presque Isle , Celia is 11th in the sprint and pursuit, and again, thanks to her good ski training, claimed the prize, but a large number of misses prevented her from doing this.
