Biography
He was born on November 6, 1922 in the village of Boroch (the current community of Knich Serbia). Before the war, he worked as a dyer in a factory. Since 1941, at the front of the People's Liberation War and a member of the Communist Party of Yugoslavia. He served in the 1st proletarian shock brigade , 3rd Kragujevac battalion, 3rd company.
He died on the night of March 14-15, 1943 in the village of Chichevo in the battle against the Chetniks.
By a decree of the Presidium of the People’s Assembly of the People’s Republic of FPRY on December 20, 1951 he was posthumously awarded the title of People’s Hero of Yugoslavia.
