Ship Description

Sailing schooner , one of the two license plates. According to various sources, the length of the schooner was from 14.9 to 14.94 meters , the width was from 5 to 5.3 meters , and the draft was from 2.1 to 2.6 meters . The armament of the vessel consisted of eight guns [1] [2] .

Service History

Schooner "No. 1" was laid at the Solombala shipyard on March 9 ( 21 ), 1826 , and after launching on July 5 ( 17 ), 1826 , it became part of the White Sea Flotilla of Russia. The construction was carried out by the ship master V. A. Ershov [2] .

From 1827 to 1832, as part of the detachment , M.F. Reinecke took part in the White Sea expeditions with the aim of hydrographic studies to describe the shores of the White Sea from the bar of the Northern Dvina to Cape Svyatoy Nos . From 1836 to 1841, she sailed to the White Sea to determine the location of lighthouses and the delivery of materials for their construction [2] .

In 1841 it underwent timbering , and in 1845 it was dismantled in Arkhangelsk [1] [2] .
