History
The street is named after the Ossetian public communist activist Nikolai Davidovich Koybaev .
The street was formed in the second half of the XIX century and was first marked on the plan of the city of Vladikavkaz “Maps of the Caucasus region” as Kambileevskaya street . It was named after the right tributary of the Terek Kambileevka River.
On August 8, 1968, Kambileevskaya Street was renamed Koybaev Street .
