Mikhail Alekseevich Semenov (born February 6, 1986 , Ostrov , Pskov Region ) is a Belarusian , and previously a Russian skier and biathlete , participant in the Olympic Games in Sochi, winner of the Universiade. Master of Sports of the Republic of Belarus of international class.

Career
Mikhail Semyonov made his debut in the ski World Cup on January 20, 2007 , at the time he was in the top thirty at the World Cup for the first time. In total, at the moment he has seven hits in the thirty best at the World Cup stages - five in personal races and two in team races. The best result in the overall World Cup standings is 72nd in the 2012/2013 season .
In 2009, he changed his citizenship and began to play for Belarus, at the same time he was re-qualified as biathlete. He played in the 2009/2010 season in the Biathlon World Cup , but without much success, only once in the top 40 and having won points in the offset of the Cup, in the remaining races he took from 44th to 95th places. At the end of the season, he took 103rd place in the overall standings of the World Cup. Neither in the Olympic Games, nor in the world championships, as a biathlete, did not participate. From the next season he returned to skiing and continued his career as a skier.
At the 2014 Olympic Games in Sochi , he started in five races: 15 km with the classic style - 59th place, skiathlon 15 + 15 km - 24th place, mass start 50 km - 17th place, relay race - 14th place and sprint - 48th place.
During his career, he participated in two world championships , the best result - 10th place in the team sprint at the 2013 world championships , and in personal races 35th place in the 15 km race in the classic style at the 2011 world championships .
