Tammejärve ( Est. Tammejärve ) is a village in the Saku parish ( Harju County , northern Estonia ). In the north it borders with Tallinn , in the west with Männiku , in the east with Kangru . In 2011, the population of the village was 18 people.

History
The village formed around Tamme Farm and was named after Lake Tammetalu Järve, which used to be next to the farm. The lake is described in the directory of Estonian lakes Järe Meremsya 1977 year. As a result of the development of baked quarries in Männiku, the groundwater system was disrupted and the lake ceased to exist [1] .

In Tammejärv, the shuttle bus number 116 stopping from Tallinn to Paekna and the commercial bus number 219 stopping from Tallinn to Aespa stop [2] .
