Francois Boisin (born December 8, 1982 , Jonquieres , Quebec , Canada ) is a Canadian snowboarder who participated in the 2006 and 2010 Olympic Games . Silver medalist of the 2005 World Cup in Bordercross .

Biography
Grandpa Francois Bouyvena played in the Quebec hockey league. He himself loves to spend time with his family, he has a son Zach. In his spare time, he also enjoys mountain biking and skydiving [1] .
Sports career
Francois Boiven participated in the World Junior Snowboard Championships in 2000 and 2002. The latter won gold in the parallel giant slalom and bronze in bordercross [1] .
In the 2001–2002 season, he entered the top ten at the World Cup three times, and the next season he achieved the result in the top ten twice. In the 2003–2004 season, he was able to win the first podium in his career, becoming the third on the stage in Berchtesgaden ( Germany ). Once again he became the third on the stage in Sierra Nevada ( Spain ) in the 2004/2005 season . The next two seasons passed without the podium of the main cup, where during this time he hit the top ten five times. At the same time, Bouvenes put gold in the North American Cup stage in his piggy bank. The 2007/2008 season was n’t given to the athlete: the best result was the 16th place in Valle-Nevado ( Chile ). The following season, Bouvene became the third on the stage in La Molina ( Italy ) [1] .
Six times participated in the world championships on a snowboard. In 2001, he became the 34th in Bordercross and did not reach the finish in the parallel giant slalom, in 2003 he became the 14th in Bordercross, the 22nd in the parallel giant slalom and 36th in the parallel slalom, in 2005 he won silver in the bordercross and later took part only in this discipline, in 2007 - became the 14th, in 2009 - the 11th, in 2011 - the 7th. At the Olympics, Francois Boiven made his debut in 2006 , where he became the 10th. At the home olympiad, Bouivain became the 12th [1] .
