Biography
Born March 6, 1916 in the village of Mogorich in a peasant family. At the age of 15 he went to work in Belgrade. After the April War, he fled from Belgrade to his native village and joined the partisan movement (the Mogorich company of the 1st Liksky partisan detachment "Velebit"). Later he served in the detachment's shock company, until June 1942 he was registered with the Pekishi Vuksan battalion .
June 6, 1942 killed in the village of Jezerce near the Plitvice Lakes in a battle against the Italians and Ustashes. By the decree of Josip Broz Tito dated November 27, 1953 he was awarded the title of the National Hero of Yugoslavia.
