Quetecsaurus rusconii (lat.) - a species of dinosaurs - sauropods from the clade Lithostrotia , who lived during the Upper Cretaceous era ( 93.5–89.3 million years ago) in the territory of modern Argentina [1] . The holotype UNCUYO-LD-300 was found in the Cerro Lisandro formation in the west of the country. The body length restored by the holotype is about 15 m. It is considered as a sister taxon for the Lognkosauria clade. The species name is given in honor of the paleontologist Carlos Rusconi [2] .
