History
In December 1917, the 3rd All-Bashkir Constituent Assembly approved a resolution on the organization of the police and the armed forces. The main task of the latter was to protect the autonomous Bashkurdistan . For the control of the armed forces it was assumed the creation of the Central Military Council and the General Headquarters of the Bashkir troops.
The Bashkir Military Council was created by Farman (order) of the Bashkir government on June 12, 1918 in the city of Chelyabinsk to control the Bashkir army .
According to the farmans (orders) of the Bashkir Military Council, the following divisions emerged as part of the headquarters of the troops: front-line, information, artillery, engineering, mobilization, economic, quartermaster, sanitary, military training and a special division of volunteer detachments. Military medical and military investigation commissions were created.
From mid-July 1918, the council served as the headquarters of the Bashkir army. To avoid complete subordination to the Provisional Siberian Government and to receive weapons, uniforms, money and food from an additional source, the Bashkir Military Council obtained from the Committee of the members of the All-Russian Constituent Assembly the inclusion of the Bashkir separate corps into the People's Army . On October 11, 1918, the Government of Bashkurdistan signed a decree on the creation of the Bashkir troop administration. At the beginning A.Gabitov was the chairman of the council, G. Tagan was his deputy, and U. Teregulov was the secretary of the council [3] . Later, Ahmed-Zaki Validi was elected chairman, lieutenant A. Gabitov became his deputy for the military council, A. Irkabayev , T. Gismati, warrant officers G. Mukhamedyarov and G. Tagan became members of the council, ensign H. Teregulov [4 ] . In July 1918, Ildarkhan Mutin became Deputy Chairman of the Bashkir Military Council, and in August he was appointed Acting Chairman of the Bashkir Military Council.
