Geography

The village is located in the central part of the district, about 5 km east of the Klin district center, on an anonymous stream, at the source of an anonymous stream, the left tributary of the Lutosnya river (the right tributary of the Sestra ) [4] , the center height above sea level is 200 m [5] . The nearest settlements are Opritovo in the south and Klenkovo east.

Until 2006, Zolino was part of the Novoshchapovsky rural district [6] .
