Ussikivi Sacrificial Stone
On the territory of Sookaer-Metsanurg, the Ussikivi sacrificial stone with the image of a snake [1] and traces of the settlement dating from the first millennium BC were discovered [2] . On the slope of the hill "Niidimyagi" traces of the battle were discovered [3] .
In the 1970s, the village was liquidated and its territory was divided between the villages of Lokuti and Tydva. In 2005, Sokoera-Metsanurga was reinstated by a government decree [4] .
