Sports Biography
At the youth level, Piho took part in the junior world championships four times, and in 2013 Khan-Hendrik achieved his most significant result. Piho was able to win bronze in the jumps from the normal springboard and the 10 km race, losing only to two German athletes. In 2011, Piho made his debut at the adult world championships in Oslo, Norway . In the ski jumping and 10 km race, Piho managed to take only 50th place. In team competitions, the Estonians were not able to break into the top ten and they took the final 12th place. In 2013, Khan-Hendrik at the World Championships performed in all four disciplines. In individual races, the Estonian's best result was the 33rd place in the normal ski jumping and 10 km race, and in the team 10th place in the team sprint. In 2012, Piho made his World Cup debut, performing at the stage in Finnish Lahti . Piho scored his first points at the world cup stages at the end of 2012, taking 28th place at the stage in Ramsau, Austria. Piho showed his best result in January 2014 at the stage in the Russian city of Tchaikovsky , when he successively became the 26th and 11th, but for many reasons many leading athletes missed this stage.
In 2014, Khan-Hendrik Piho made his debut at the Sochi Winter Olympics . In the normal ski jump, Piho showed the 43rd result. In the ski race, the Estonian showed 40th time, but this was only enough to stay at the 43rd position following the results of the competition. In the big ski jump and the 10 km race, Khan Hendrik was able to do a good test attempt in jumping, which allowed him to take the preliminary 37th place, and a good move shown during the ski race allowed Piho to go up one line and take the final 36th place.
