After the Great Patriotic War in 1946 - 1985, Boris Nikolayevich worked at the Izhevsk Motor Plant as a toolmaker of high qualification. Working with a personal stigma, he regularly performed 140-150% change tasks. The master-adjuster taught his profession to 20 young workers.
He was elected a deputy of the Supreme Council of the Udmurt Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic in 1980 , was a member of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Civil Code and the CPSU OK. He was awarded the Order of Lenin , many medals. The name of Boris Nikolaevich is listed in the Honorary Book of Labor Glory and Heroism of the Udmurt Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic . He was buried at the Khokhryakovsky cemetery in Izhevsk.
