Location

The village of Gorshkovo is located in the northwestern part of the Yegoryevsk district, about 3.5 km west of the city of Yegoryevsk. Height above sea level - 150 m [2] .

Title

The name is associated with the non-calendared personal name Pot [3] .

History

In 1926, the village was part of the Gorshkovsky village council of the Ilyinsky volost of the Yegoryevsky district [4] .

Until 1994, Gorshkovo was part of the Efremovsky Village Council of the Egorievsky District, and in 1994-2006. - Efremov rural district [5] .

Population

In 1926 - 517 people (250 men, 267 women) [4] . According to the 2002 census, there were 128 people (56 men, 72 women) [6] .
