Biography
Born in the Halbakinsky village (now Vilyui ulus of the Republic of Sakha ) into a peasant family. By nationality - Yakut. He graduated from the seven-year secondary school.
After graduation, he worked on a collective farm . From 1959 to 1961 he served in the Armed Forces of the USSR . In 1962 he graduated from the School of Agricultural Mechanization in Yakutsk (now the Yakutsk Industrial and Pedagogical College), received the specialty "Tractor Driver - Generalist."
He worked in the Verkhnekolymsky district . In 1967 he moved to the Ust-Yansky district , got a job at the Silyannyakhsky state farm. In 1974, he moved to work as a bulldozer at the Deputatsky mine, and after a while he became the foreman of the Bulldozer workers at the Tsentralny quarry.
The team achieved a high output per unit of technology, mastered and introduced new equipment and advanced technologies in permafrost conditions. [2]
By a decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR of January 15, 1985 for outstanding production achievements, great achievements in the development of the gold mining industry of Yakutia and the heroism shown by this to work, Bykanov Prokop Innokentyevich was awarded the title Hero of Socialist Labor .
He worked at the Deputatsky Mining and Processing Plant for 23 years, then retired.
He was elected People's Deputy of the USSR , a member of the Central Committee of the USSR Non-ferrous Metallurgy Trade Union, participated in public life. He lived in Yakutsk .
Bykanov died on January 4, 2014 in Yakutsk. [one]
