Geography

The village of Sogolevo is located in the north of the Moscow region, in the eastern part of the city district of Klin, about 10 km east of the district center - the city of Klin , at the source of the nameless stream, the left tributary of the Lutosni river (the right tributary of the Sestra ) [10] , the height of the center above the level the sea - 197 m [11] . The nearest settlements are Temnovo in the north, Selifonovo in the east and Boris Gleb in the south. The regional highway 46K-0260 passes through the village (highway M10 "Russia" - Zubovo - Moscow Big Ring ) [12] .

History

In the middle of the XIX century, the village of Sogolevo of the 1st camp of the Klinsky district of Moscow province belonged to Princess Marya Ivanovna Volkonskaya, it had 8 yards, peasants 39 male souls and 49 female souls [3] .

In the “List of Populated Places” of 1862, Sogolevo (Soglevo) is the owner's village of the 1st camp of the Klinsky district on the right side of the Dmitrovsky tract from the city of Klin, 10 versts from the county town and 18 versts from the flat, at the pond, with 10 yards, Orthodox Church and 81 residents (38 men, 43 women). In the village there was a volost government [4] .

In 1886, the village was the administrative center of the Sogolevsky volost of the Klinsky district, there were 13 yards, 91 people lived; there was an Orthodox church, a chapel, a school, an almshouse, a shop, and fairs were held twice a year [5] .

In 1890, in the village of 239 residents, the Zemstvo school worked [6] .

According to the data for 1911, the number of yards was 23, the village had a volost government, an apartment for a police officer, there was a zemstvo school and a tea shop [13] .

According to the materials of the 1926 All-Union Census - the administrative center of the Sogolevsky village council of the Sogolevsky volost of the Klinsky district, 7.5 km from the Klinsko-Dmitrov highway and 13.9 km from the Klin station of the Oktyabrskaya railway; 172 people lived (82 men, 90 women), there were 30 households, of which 27 were peasant [7] .
