Geography
The commune is located approximately 350 km east of Paris , 85 km northeast of Besancon , 50 km northeast of Vesoul [1] .
In the south of the commune flows the river Rever-o-Chien ( fr. Revers aux Chiens ). More than half of the commune's territory is covered by forests.
