Crater Description
Crater Grissom is located south of the giant crater Apollo . Its closest neighbors are L. Clark Crater in the north, Levitt Crater in the east-northeast, Riedel Crater in the east-southeast, Carrer Crater in the southeast, and Corey Crater in the southwest [3] . The selenographic coordinates of the center of the crater are , diameter 59.8 km [4] , depth 2.5 km [1] .
For a long time of its existence, the crater was significantly destroyed, the north-eastern part of the shaft was blocked by two small craters. The bottom of the bowl is relatively even, dotted with a multitude of craters of various sizes.
