Patrick Biggs (born October 11, 1982 , Berwick , Australia ) is a Canadian skier , participant in the 2006 and 2010 Olympic Games . Champion of Canada.
Biography
Patrick Biggs' father is Australian, his mother is Canadian. Until five years, he lived in Victoria , Australia, and then the family moved to Ottawa . At six, he began going to a ski club. Other sports hobbies include golf , surfing and tennis. [1]
Sports career
In the 2004-2005 season, Patrick Biggs made his world Cup debut. He showed some good results in slalom , becoming 10th on January 9 and January 1, 2005. In the same year he became the champion of Canada in slalom. In the future, showed results slightly worse. He took part in the World Alpine Skiing Championships in 2005 and 2007 (slalom). Both times became the 9th. Multiple winner of the North American Cup [1] .
At the Olympic Games, Patrick Biggs made his debut in 2006 , where he started in slalom: he was the tenth after the first attempt, but did not reach the finish line in the second. At the home olympiad, Biggs took part in the giant slalom [1] .
