ISO 3166-2: MC is an International Organization for Standardization standard that defines geocodes. It is a subset of the ISO 3166-2 standard relating to Monaco . The standard covers 10 districts and 7 administrative territorial units with the rights of the districts of Monaco. Each geocode consists of two parts: Alpha2 code according to ISO 3166-1 , for Monaco - MC and additional code written with a hyphen. An additional code is formed by a two-character number. Community geocodes are a subset of top-level domain codes - MC assigned by Monaco in accordance with ISO 3166-1 .
