Ship Description

One of two numbered sailing rowing schooners built for the Black Sea Fleet. The length of the schooner was 23.8 meters , the width was 7.3 meters , and the draft according to various sources was from 2.9 to 3 meters . The armament of the schooner consisted of eight guns [1] [2] .

Service History

Schooner "No. 2" was laid in the Sevastopol Admiralty on June 3, 1794 , was launched on November 19, 1795, and in 1797 became part of the rowing flotilla [1] .

In 1798 and 1799 she sailed between Sevastopol and Nikolaev . In 1800, delivered mail between Sevastopol and Constantinople [2] .

In 1801 and 1802 she carried a guard post in Odessa . In 1810, the schooner "No. 2" was dismantled [1] .
