History

In 1987, the character of the Sibiryachka was invented by the Irkutsk writer Mark Sergeyev and painted by the artist Alexander Muravyov. In the same year, the first almanac called Sibiryachok No. 1 was published in the East Siberian Book Publishing House , in which fairy tales, short stories, poems, and riddles were collected. The next issue was released in 1989 under the name "Siberian No. 2".

Since January 1992, issues have become numbered: the first issue of Sibiryachok magazine has been published.

In 1998, the editor-in-chief of the magazine S. N. Aslamova was awarded the medal of the Order of Merit for the Fatherland, II degree, for achievements in the field of print and culture , and in 2008 she was awarded the honorary title “Honored Worker of Culture of the Russian Federation” .

In 2005, the chief artist of the magazine A. M. Muravyov was awarded the honorary title "People's Artist of Russia" .

Basic Information

The magazine publishes works of literary classics and modern prose for children, oral folklore of the peoples of Siberia and the Far East, drama, local history materials, tales, adventures, poems and comics about the Sibiryachka and his friends, games, instructions for crafts, crosswords, puzzles, puzzles , songs.

Each issue of the journal is accompanied by thematic tabs: a series of Siberian cards “Wildlife World” (“Primroses of Baikal”, “Feathered inhabitants of the winter forest”, “Fresh flowers of Baikal”, “Guests of the spring forest”, “Mammals of Eastern Siberia”, “Wild berries” Siberia "); “Children's Writers of Siberia”, “Mastery Siberia”, as well as tabs on folk culture, traditions, games.

Sibiryachok was awarded the Best for Children quality seal and the Golden Press Fund distinction.

Publishing

The editorial board of the Sibiryachok magazine has published a series of books, The Sibiryachok Library for Babies. “In the Far Far Away Kingdom” (1993) - Russian heroic tales; “Lucky” (1993) - the novel by L. Charskaya; “Stump through the deck” (1998) - a collection of Russian fairy tales about masters and craftsmen, fools and idlers; "Piggy bank of games of the Siberian" (1995); "Strong Siberian Nuts" (2001) - a collection of games and ideas, puzzles, crosswords, poems, quizzes, a script for the holidays; “The Word about Baikal ” (2004) - myths, traditions, tales, tales and legends, instructions of the peoples of Siberia.

“The Sibiryachka’s Amazing Journey through Lake Baikal ” - the small encyclopedia “Siberian Girl” (2002), was published with the help of the GEF grant “Good word in the name of Lake Baikal”.

Journal Public Activities

From 2008 to 2010, Sibiryachok held the literary contest Golden Leaf Fall, dedicated to Siberian writers Yu. E. Chernykh , G. P. Mikhasenko , and Yu. S. Samsonov .

In 2012, the magazine announced a literary contest "Meet the Sun."

In 2012, the premiere of the cartoon "Siberian and Bunny Birch" [1] .

In 2014, the editorial office of the magazine announced the literary contest "Native Word" for the 190th anniversary of KD Ushinsky .
