It was converted into a frigate from a Turkish ship captured in the Archipelago in 1770. It became part of the Baltic Fleet of Russia.

He took part in the Russian-Turkish war of 1768-1774 .

July 7, 1771 in the detachment of Count A. G. Orlov came from Livorno to Auzu . From August 1 to November 6, as part of a squadron, he went cruising to the Dardanelles , after which he returned to Ausa. From February 27 to August 1, 1772, as part of Rear Admiral A.V. Elmanov's squadron, he took part in the blockade of the Dardanelles.

September 23, 1772 he went to the island of Patmos , where he cruised until July next year. On July 30, as part of the squadron, A. V. Elmanov came to the Bodrum fortress, where he took part in the bombing of the fortress and the landing. On August 1, it also bombarded coastal fortifications, and on August 5, together with the squadron, went to the fortress on the island of Stanchio and landed troops, but due to the superiority of the enemy in the ground forces, on August 8 they had to take off the coast, and the ships of the squadron went to the Dardanelles Strait.

Until May 25, 1774 went on a cruise to the Archipelago as part of troops, and then went to Auzu. May 8 of the following year left Auzu and went to the Black Sea [2] . Arrived in Kerch and became part of the Black Sea Fleet [1] .
