History
It was founded in 1661, 20 km from the then city of the Nezhegolsk fortress. Tsar Alexei Mikhailovich granted these lands to Ataman Martyn Ognishchev. After his death, his great-grandson sold the land to the foreman Fyodor Afonasevna Neklyudova. But the descendants of Ognischev sold these lands to the Nezhegolsky boyars and landowners who were sent to work in the city of Nezhegolsk from Moscow and other big cities.
The last landowner estates belonged to the landowners Zhidkov who had a large oak house, a barn, a pigsty, a stable, arable fields, an apple orchard, which locals still call the "Liquid Garden". After the Revolution of 1917, the Zhidkovs were dispossessed. In the 1930s, the Trud collective farm appeared in the village, which included the village of Starovschina. In the early 1970s, the Trud collective farm merged with the Leninsky Way collective farm with the Belyansk collective farm.
In the 1970s, the village was recognized as "unpromising" - at that time a dozen yards remained in the village.
