Biography

Representative of the noble family of the Streshnevs . The eldest son of Afanasy Ivanovich Streshnev. Younger brothers are Konstantin, Leonty, Yakov Bolshoi, Andrey and Yakov Menshoy Afanasevichi. The granddaughter of Tsarina Evdokia Lukyanovna , the second wife of Tsar Mikhail Fedorovich .

In 1615 - 1616, Ilya Afanasevich Streshnev served as the siege head in Meshchovsk , in 1621 - 1625 he served as governor in the same Meshchovsk .

On June 2, 1625, during the absence of the tsar in the capital, I. A. Streshnev “ slept and slept ” in the royal court.
