Reviews
Balayan continued to shoot in the 90s , but as if by inertia. In the modern painting “Two moons, three suns”, a new, recognizable life was no longer felt. There was no previous lightness, confidence in the film adaptation of Turgenev’s “ First Love ”. The past has become as uncomfortable for the author as the present. Recently, in one interview, the director admitted: “When they gave me freedom, oddly enough, I lost the desire to make films. We were slaves who dreamed of freedom, but it turned out that when they were released, some went into chaos, while others lost their walls who are accustomed to ruin. That’s such a mentality. And now the time is transitional, meaningless.
