Biography

Botabay Sadykov was born on February 23, 1916 in the village of Sairam, now in the Sairam district of the South Kazakhstan region of Kazakhstan, into a peasant family. Uzbek. Member of the CPSU (b) since 1943. He worked as a planner at the Sairam Machine and Tractor Station . He was called up to the Red Army in September 1939.

World War II

Since October 1941, he fought on the Southwestern , Stalingrad , and Central fronts.

Feat

Comrade Sadykov himself has 13 wrecked and burned tanks, 2 artillery and 3 mortar batteries, 23 bunkers and a dugout, more than two battalions of enemy infantry. On the right bank of the river. The Dnieper, Comrade Sadykov, with the fire of his gun ... defeated 8 enemy machine gun nests, 3 anti-tank guns, 1 mortar battery, and repelled 1 German counterattack. Post-war time

After demobilization, he lived in his native village of Sairam. He worked as the chairman of the village council, accountant in the regional branch of "Kazselkhoztekhnika".

He died on January 18, 1992. He was buried in his native village.
