It is located 9 km north of Gdov , 1 km from Lake Peipsi , on the banks of the Zadubka River flowing into it.

According to estimates for the year 2000, the population of the village is 18 people [1] , according to the 2002 census - 20 people.
History
Until 2005, the village was part of the now abolished Gdovskoy volost .
