The Bochkarevo-Moscow ski transition is a ski transition in the USSR , completed in 1934-1935. [one]
The length of this ski-foot crossing was 8134 km [2] , of which the first 1350 km were walked.

History
Five military personnel of OKDVA aviation unit (according to other sources from the school of junior aviation specialists - ShMAS): Martynov Vladimir Trofimovich (team leader), Karmnov Alexander Georgievich, Markov Valentin Ilyich (fell ill at the end of the way), Nikolenko Dementy Evmenovich and Savchenko Vladimir Romanovich - started on October 14, 1934 from Bochkarevo station (now the city of Belogorsk, Amur Region ), finishing in Moscow on February 12, 1935 (together with the skiers of the Nerchinsk-Moscow crossing ).
The transition lasted 120 days, of which 87 were running. The average daily speed was 93.4 km.
By a resolution of the Central Executive Committee of the USSR, all 5 participants in this transition were awarded with Honorary Diplomas of the Central Executive Committee of the USSR, and by order of the People’s Commissar of Defense, they were awarded with a nominal gold watch.
Preparation
The first military training foot was on August 1-4, 1934, when they covered a distance of almost 350 km from Svobodny to Blagoveshchensk and back through the local hills . On August 12, they went on a 710-kilometer pedestrian throw to Khabarovsk, which they reached in 103 hours and where they took part in the opening of the first OKDVA Olympics.
In addition to pedestrian crossings, and their number was more than 5 thousand kilometers, the Bochkarevites went kayaking along Tomi and Zee , preparing their shoulder girdle for skiing by rowing. In early autumn, fighters passed the standards for the 1st stage of the GTO complex ("Ready for Labor and Defense").
