Spring and Mill Pond
In the southern part of the village there is a spring, near which a mill pond 40 × 70 m in size was built. The pond is made in the form of an earthen rampart planted with trees, whose age is 80-100 years. The dam at the discharge of water in the southwestern part of the reservoir was intended for the now extant mill. The spring feeding the pond is a group of powerful sand gryphons and is surrounded by a wooden block 6 × 12 m in size. According to local residents, a chapel was located above the spring [3] .
According to the information board installed near the spring, the aquifer supplying the spring lies at a depth of 40-60 m and belongs to the Tula horizon of the Lower Carboniferous. The flow rate of the source is about 200 l / s. Hydrocarbonate-magnesium water with elevated levels of iron and silicon, suitable for drinking. 17 types of algae live in the pond: blue-green , diatoms , euglena , green , yellow-green . The yellow-stormy color of the algae is due to the presence of iron bacteria in them [4] .
