Description

Small riders : front wing length 3.5 mm. Vein Rs between 2r-rs and 3r-m is very short. The cu-a cell is interstitial. Front wing with a vein Rs + M reaching 1m-cu. Antennae thick. Propodeum is long. Mesonotum with transverse carinae. Front fenders with wide bone area. The vein 2r-rs is connected to the pterostigma apically; there is only one transverse vein rm (3r-m) and two cells mcu. The first metasomal segment is basally narrow. Oviposition is short. The species was first described in 2008 by the Russian paleoentomologist Alexander Pavlovich Rasnitsyn ( PIN RAS , Moscow ). The species name is given by the name of the place of detection of the type series (Gobi) [1] [2] [3] [4] .
