Akzhar ( Kazakh. Azhar until 199? - Socialist Kazakhstan) is a village in the Saryagash district of the Turkestan region of Kazakhstan . It is part of the Aktobe rural district. The KATO code is 515437200 [1] .

In 1999, the population of the village was 593 people (285 men and 308 women) [2] . According to the 2009 census , 753 people lived in the village (381 men and 372 women) [2] .
