Nikolai Gavrilovich Chernyshevsky
The NG Chernyshevsky Prize is a scientific award of the USSR Academy of Sciences and was established in 1956 with the wording “for outstanding scientific work in the field of social sciences” [1] . In accordance with the decision of the Presidium of the Academy of Sciences of the USSR in 1959, which determined the basic principles of awarding awards [2] , the prize was awarded once every three years.
The prize is named in honor of the outstanding Russian philosopher Nikolai Gavrilovich Chernyshevsky .
