It is located on the coast of the Osochenka River, a tributary of the Chernaya (flowing into Yanyu , and it flows into Plyussa ), 35 km east of Gdov and 9 km southeast of the volost center of Plesna .
The village of Hvorki-1 formally includes the former village of Hvorki-2 , located 1.5 km east of (the main part) of the village of Hvorki-1 .
