The Church of the Archangel (Archistratigus) Michael in Stanislavl is an Orthodox church of the Ilyinsky deanery of the Moscow city diocese . Located in the village of Stanislavl Novomoskovsk administrative district of Moscow . Built in 1696 on the Moscow region lands of the Chudov Monastery (now the territory of the city of Moscow ). Returned to believers in 1990.
History
The temple was built in 1696 in the style of Moscow Baroque . For the possibility of carrying out services in the winter in 1821, a chapel was attached to the temple. In 1874-75, instead of the old, disassembled, a new larger refectory was erected.
After the October Revolution, the temple (altar, drum, bell tower, refectory, office space, and also the cemetery) was almost completely destroyed, but by now almost all the buildings have been restored.
The service resumed in 1991.
