Kozlovo is a village in the urban district of Shakhovskaya in the Moscow Region .

Geography

The village is located in the eastern part of the okrug, near the border with Volokolamsk , about 15 km southeast of the Shakhovskaya district center, on the left bank of the Ruza river ^[7] , the center height above sea level is 202 m ^[8] . The nearest settlements are Krasnaya Gora , Volokolamsk district, in the east and Nedanovo in the southwest.

There are 4 streets in the village: Krasnaya, Livoberezhnaya, Sadovaya and Tsentralnaya ^[9] .

There is a bus stop on the 46th bus going to Shakhovskaya ^[10] .

Historical Information

In 1769, Kozlova - the village of Rakhova, the camp of the Volokolamsk district of Moscow province , the possession of the widow of the court adviser Anna Grigoryevna Gryaznova. There are 15 souls in the village ^[11] .

In the middle of the XIX century, the village of Kozlovo belonged to the 1st camp of the Volokolamsk district and belonged to Prince Alexander Petrovich Shakhovsky. In the village there were 21 courtyards , peasants 84 male souls and 92 female souls ^[12] .

In the “List of Populated Places” of 1862 - the owner’s village of the 1st camp of the Volokolamsk district of the Moscow province on the right side of the Moscow highway, going from the border of the Zubtsov district to the city of Volokolamsk , 21 versts from the county town, at the Ruze river, with 22 yards and 165 residents (83 men, 82 women) ^[3] .

According to the data for 1890, it was part of the Bukholovskaya volost of Volokolamsk district, the number of male souls was 80 people ^[13] .

In 1913 - 34 yards ^[14] .

According to the materials of the 1926 All-Union Census, the center of the Kozlovsky Village Council , 191 people lived (73 men, 118 women), there were 36 peasant farms ^[4] .

Since 1929 - a settlement as part of the Shakhovsky district of the Moscow region.

1994-2006 - the village of the Bukholovsky rural district of the Shakhovsky district ^[15] .

2006—2015 - the village of the rural settlement Stepankovskoye of the Shakhovsky district ^[16] ^[17] .
