Business class

The newspaper was created in August 2004. On September 13, 2004, the first issue ^{[2] [3]} was released.

The founder of the publication is Center for Business Information LLC (the founders of the LLC are a group of individuals, including newspaper management). Director - Svetlana Mazanova, editor-in-chief - Vadim Skovorodin.

Vadim Skovorodin left the post of chief editor from January 2011 to June 2012 and worked as an adviser to the Head of Perm Igor Sapko ^{[4] [5]} .

For 1.5 years, the duties of the chief editor of the Business Class newspaper were performed by Lyubov Ankudinova and Andrei Prudnikov ^[6] .

In addition to the newspaper Business Class , the Center for Business Information also publishes the newspaper Our District .

The first issues of the newspaper appeared on 16 pages, now the standard number of pages is 24–28 ^[1] . The main sections of the newspaper are “Economics”, “Politics”, “Theme of the issue”, “Persona”, etc. As separate applications, thematic pages dedicated to real estate ( Building bc ) are published. The main annual projects of the newspaper are “TOP-300 - rating of three hundred largest enterprises of the Perm Territory” and “TOP-300 - rating of three hundred small enterprises of the region” ^[2] . Both ratings are unique for the Perm Territory; they contain information on revenue, net profit, profitability and other key economic indicators for the year for all major enterprises in the region.

According to sociological studies conducted by the Perm Institute of the Ural-INSO , according to the results of 2012-2014, the Business Class was recognized as the most widely read among business newspapers in the Perm Region ^{[7] [8] [9] [10] [11]} .

In October 2012, she updated the design of the publication. The main task of the new design was to make the newspaper more colorful, easy to read, without changing its idea at the same time. The design company was engaged in the Perm company Level Design ^[12] . In 2017, the website of business-class.su publication changed dramatically. In March 2019 the editors of Business Class, together with the Public Chamber of the Perm Territory and the Perm-Oxford Association, held an international conference in Perm called “Modern Trends in the Development of Modern Journalism” in Perm.

• 2006 - the editorial office of the Business Class newspaper was awarded a diploma of the Perm Territory Administration “For the most objective, professional, regular coverage of political processes in the Perm Territory” ^{[13] [14]} .

• 2007 - the newspaper became the finalist of the all-Russian contest "Newspaper Design".

• 2007 - in the competition "Edge of Success 2007", organized by the "Russian Guild of Realtors. Perm Krai ” , the Business Class newspaper was recognized as the best edition in the nomination“ Competent coverage of the real estate market ”.

• 2010 - the publication confirmed its status by receiving the diploma "The best media covering the real estate and construction market of the Perm Territory" in the competition "Edge of Success 2010" ^[15] .

• 2017 - Business Class newspaper recognized as the best regional business publication in Russia in a contest held by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation.
• 2018 - Business Class newspaper won first place in the nomination “The Best Socio-Political, Business Media” in the “Ruble Zone” competition, which is held with the support of the State Duma Committee on the financial market.

Business Class correspondents have been repeatedly recognized as winners and prize winners of journalistic contests on political and economic topics.
